In September 2019, take the chance to be part of an International festival with more than 600 artisans from 70 countries, in Uzbekistan.
The First International Handicrafters Festival will take place in the city Kokand, Fergana Region, Uzbekistan, on September 10-15th 2019 year. By participating in this festival you can demonstrate and sell your products, and make contacts with other artisans from all over the world.
> Deadline for registration is 28th june.
The organizing committee will choose 2 participants from each country. All fare, accommodation, food and transportation expenses for artisans will be covered by organizers.
This International Handicrafters Festival will gather more than 600 artisans who will come from 70 countries and more than 120 representatives of various Handicraft Organizations. The festival also includes scientific-practical conference. The conference is dedicated to develop and prospect to handcraftsmanship.
Various exhibitions of folk arts and crafts will be organized on Urdaoldi Square, which will present handicrafts, works of art and applied arts, ancient machines, as well as documentaries, books, photographs reflecting the work process of artisans.
Uzbekistan Handicraft Association is a non-profit, non-governmental public organization, founded by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan №1741 on March 31, 1997. Today, more than 31 000 artisans are members of this association and they successfully operate in 34 directions. Main purpose of the Association is to preserve the centuries-old folk art traditions, promote development of rich and diverse arts and applied arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan Handicraft Association is member of the World Crafts Council, and participated in the General Assembly of the World Crafts Council Europe as an invited member, in June 2019, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Le festival réunira plus de 600 artisans d’art venus de 70 pays, et plus de 120 représentants de diverses organisations du domaine de l’artisanat.
Des conférences dédiées au développement et perspectives de l’artisanat sont également au programme.
Diverses expositions d'art et d'artisanat populaires seront organisées sur la place Urdaoldi. Elles présenteront des objets d'artisanat, des œuvres d'art et d'arts appliqués, des machines anciennes, ainsi que des documentaires, des livres, des photographies reflétant le processus de travail des artisans.
Uzbekistan Handicraft Association est une organisation publique à but non lucratif et publique, créée par décret du président de la République d'Ouzbékistan №1741 du 31 mars 1997. Aujourd'hui, plus de 31 000 artisans sont membres de cette association qui a pour objectif de préserver les traditions de l’art populaire, et de promouvoir le développement et la diversité des arts et arts appliqués en République d’Ouzbékistan.
Uzbekistan Handicraft Association est membre du World Crafts Council et a participé à l’Assemblée Générale du World Crafts Council Europe en tant que membre invité, en juin 2019 à Tbilissi, Géorgie.
